Description | Founded in 1929, the National Anti-Vivisection Society (NAVS) is a respected leader of advocates for animals and better, more humane science. NAVS has a proud history of promoting positive solutions to replace cruel, costly and flawed animal experiments with modern, innovative methods of research, safety testing and education. NAVS works with scientists from academia, government and industry to develop and implement smarter, human-relevant research methods that replace the use of animals through funding of the International Foundation for Ethical Research (IFER) and other promising collaborations with the scientific community. |
